Well,
it's summer, and summer around CJ's place invariably means barbecues,
cocktails, patios, good company, and of course the Retrochallenge!
Yes,
we have a good solid month of retrocomputing ahead of us, and I've
taken precautions this year, so there will be no interruptions (sales
calls, meetings, medical emergencies, etc) to spoil my fun like they
have the last two times. In fact, I'm so determined to finish out
the month that it'll take a catastrophe of biblical proportions to stop
me...
Power failure? Pffft! One of the three systems I'm using runs exclusively on battery power (4 AAs!)
House burns down? Pffft! Two of the three are portable (one barely so...)
Internet
outage in town? Pffft! All I need is a payphone and either
a pocketful of quarters or a prepaid phone card!
