Well, it's that time of year again, where we try to beat the winter blahs,
break our way out of the doldrums, and attempt to cool our cabin fever. And
what better way to do it than by pissing around with old computer hardware?
I've decided to adopt a theme for this year's Winter Warmup: Necromancy. The Raising of the Dead by
magic.
My plan is to resurrect several of my old computers, and also to put my beloved
Amiga 2000 to work again... I'll probably do something with my recently
upgraded TRS-80 Model 100 and Gameboy Camera as well (Thanks to Schadenfreude
for inadvertently getting me hooked on this hobby during Retrochallenge
'09!).
I'll also do something in a creative capacity, not sure what... yet.
A piece of advice to anyone following along: check back a couple of times a
day, especially on weekends. I tend to tweak and update a few times a day.
